Se afl\u0103 \u00een valea Pietrele, \u00een Zona II a Parcului Na\u021bional Retezat, care corespunde p\u0103r\u021bii centrale a Parcului. E situat\u0103 la 45 min de mers de la Cabana Pietrele. Cazarea trebuie rezervat\u0103 \u00eentotdeauna \u00een avans.
